How to Get Comet Pro for Free

This guide shows you how to get 1 month of Comet Pro for free. You do not need to pay up front.

Comet is an AI browser and AI assistant. Comet Pro gives you extra features, higher limits, and better access.

Follow these steps.

Step 1. Download Comet

  1. Go to the Comet download page. Download Comet
  2. Pick your system. Mac or Windows.
  3. Download and install the app.
  4. Open the app.

Do not create an account yet. Do not sign up yet. Keep Comet open.

Why this matters
Comet checks your invite link during the first setup. If you sign up first with a normal email, you may not get Pro.

Step 2. Activate With the Invite Link

  1. With Comet open, but not registered yet, use this invite link:

  2. Paste the link in your browser and open it.

  3. The link will connect your new account to a Pro trial.

What this does
This link flags your account as eligible. It tells Comet to start you on Pro, not the free basic plan.

If you already signed up and skipped this link
Log out, close Comet, reopen Comet, and create a new account using the link. You need a fresh account for this to work.

Step 3. Claim Your Pro Membership

  1. Go to the claim page inside Comet.
    • You will see a page or popup that talks about Pro access.
  2. Tap or click "Claim Pro Membership".
  3. Finish the short flow.

After that, you now have Comet Pro access for free for the first month.

You should now see Pro features unlocked.

How To Confirm You Got Pro

Check inside Comet:

  • Look for "Pro" next to your account name.
  • Try a Pro only feature. For example, higher rate limits or locked tools. If it works with no upgrade paywall, you are on Pro.

If you are still on a basic tier, repeat Step 2 with a new account.

Common Questions

Do I need a credit card

In most cases, no. The invite link gives you one free Pro month. There is no payment at the start. After the trial, Pro may become paid.

Can I lose Pro if I uninstall

No. Your Pro status is in your account, not only in the app. You can log in on another device during the active Pro month.

Can I share the link

Yes, but there is no promise it will work forever for every new user. If the link stops working, the new user will not get Pro.
